In July of 1956 my husband's grandfather, Harold Bierer, and father, Willis T. Shaffer started this thriving Ford business on the North corner of Third and Liberty Streets in downtown Oakland, Maryland.  In 1990 my husband, Richard S. Shaffer, became President and owner of this dealership and managed it until his untimely death on December 5, 1998.  Upon his death, I, Kathryn B. Shaffer, stepped up as President, owner and manager.

   Today, and every day since 1956, our trained, hand-picked staff of over thirty, know customer satisfaction and excellent quality workmanship are our livelihood.  In 1990 we moved to our new, present facility and location, which allows us to offer the latest state of the art equipment and technology.  Our inventory includes over 100 units, specializing in 4x4s, sport utilities and all wheel drive vehicles.
